Beaver Creek Inspire

The Beaver Creek Resort Company is excited to be the driving force behind Beaver Creek Inspire, a strategic collection of projects and initiatives to drive major enhancements and modernization to the Village and base area of Beaver Creek.

Beaver Creek Inspire was created to support property values, drive commercial business and provide exciting new amenities and experiences consistent with Beaver Creek’s reputation and tradition as a world-class luxury resort. Projects include: renovations and upgrades to buildings and public areas; extraordinary evening experiences; exciting new spaces for kids and teens; improved summer activities and camp offerings; enhanced parking and skier drop-off experiences, and more.

This is the largest investment plan Beaver Creek Village has seen in decades, with potential for $12 million of improvements from BCRC over the next several years and possibly twice that amount when including investments made by other stakeholder organizations.

This vision will only be accomplished through participation, partnership and collaboration among the entire Beaver Creek community of property and building owners, associations, and business operators.

Beaver Creek Inspire Project Updates

Creekside Park Construction Project Update:
May 2024

The project broke ground in April and is well into a pre-construction phase. This includes placement of construction fencing, demolition, and work on snowmaking infrastructure improvements in the lower park to ensure a quality winter skiway experience for years to come.

We have been holding weekly on-site community update meetings each Thursday morning at 10am in Creekside Park (click here for exact meeting location), anyone who is interested about what to expect each week from a construction standpoint is welcome to attend!

Reminders and updates about the project:

  • Construction in both the lower and upper park will be taking place in the park until November.
  • The primary pedestrian path from the lower park to the upper park will be kept open as much as possible, with only occasional closures of the path anticipated.
  • Planned hours of construction in May are Monday through Friday 7:30am – 6:30pm. If necessary for our timeline, Saturday work may occur from 8:00am to 5:30pm.

The project plans include replacement of all picnic tables in the park and as a result, we have several existing picnic tables in good shape that are available for free if any properties or community members are interested, on a first-come, first-served basis. Creekside Park Construction Project Begins in April 2024

Following a multi-year planning process and incorporating feedback from the community, the Beaver Creek Resort Company is excited to break ground on an improved Creekside Park experience immediately after the ski season ends in April. The end result will feature and enhance the beautiful natural alpine environment, and offer the community a unique playground experience and multi-use lawn space commensurate with the world-class destination qualities and brand of Beaver Creek resort.

Our approach to the project includes the following commitments in an effort to keep construction impacts as minimal and transparent as possible:

  • Both upper and lower park construction will occur in 2024, the project will not disrupt the park for multiple years as originally planned.
  • The primary pedestrian path from the lower park to the upper park will be kept open as much as possible, with only occasional closures of the path anticipated.
  • The project team will be providing monthly updates and available as a resource at any time for questions and to provide ongoing information.
