Short-Term Rentals
Short-Term Rental Information
Did you know? Short term rentals (STR) requires a business license and both Civic and Lodging Assessments to be submitted.
If a home or condo is rented out for more than four (4) days in a month, the owner or management company must obtain a Lodging Beaver Creek Business License (Click here for a Business License application: Beaver Creek Business License Regulation) BCRC has engaged a monitoring company to track all STRs in Beaver Creek to help with this licensing and assessment collection compliance.
Beaver Creek Resort Company reminds single homeowners and/or management companies to submit the necessary civic and lodging assessments. These assessments uphold community enforcement and resort integrity, contributing to the exceptional guest and owner experience that keeps visitors returning. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure these assessments are submitted.
Please select one of the following forms to complete your BCRC Assessment:
- Civic Assessment Return Form for all sales and short-term rentals
- Lodging Civic Assessment Return Form for all hotel lodging and short-term rentals
- Mountain Civic Assessment Return Form for all mountain activities
- Recreation Assessment Return Form for all mountain and village services sold
Are you a property manager who rent multiple units? Licenses are per HOA, so if you have two units in one condo property, they are combined for one business license. Email businesslicense@vailreorts.com to help set up your accounts. Further information about STR licensing can be found here: BCRC Short Term Rental Presentation.
